About
A privacy podcast, for everyone.
Signal Jam is a podcast about regaining and maintaining privacy in the face of pervasive corporate and government surveillance. We're your co-hosts, Jay and Michael. Every episode, we discuss practical steps that anyone can take toward achieving better privacy— no matter how 'tech-savvy' they are. We break down complex topics into smaller, easier-to-understand chunks, and try to make technology less intimidating and more accessible.
The podcast— and this website— is a place to hear our takes on privacy-related news, techniques, and tools. We plan to interview interesting people, ranging from developers and corporate leadership, to activists and everyday people who share valuable insight into staying private in the Information Age.
Signal Jam is designed with the international community in mind. Ideally, as we grow and more listeners contribute, you'll be able to find relevant content about privacy in your part of the world, no matter where that may be. There will be something for everyone here.
No matter who you are, where you live, or what privacy means to you, we want Signal Jam to be a helpful and entertaining resource.
We are not currently soliciting or accepting sponsorships. This policy may change in the future as the podcast grows and such arrangements make more sense to consider.
We are interested in collaborations from privacy-focused developers, organizations, activists, community members, etc. That could be a simple round table discussion on the podcast, a special offering for listeners to test your product/service, or something else.
Want to collaborate? Let's talk.
